Nutmeg Sports, HAN’s Connecticut sport show, airs Monday-Thursday at 2 pm on HAN.Network, hosted by Frank Granito, Kevin Coleman, Eric Gendron and various HAN sports editors.

On the Friday, May 26, episode of Nutmeg Sports the gang is live at the Ball Park Harbor Yard getting ready for tonight’s FCIAC baseball championship between No. 2 Wilton and No. 4 Ridgefield. Frank, Kevin, and Eric preview tonight’s chapter in the Route 7 rivalry, plus look back at Thursday afternoon’s boys lacrosse championship and answer your questions from Twitter.

First up is Thursday night’s boys lacrosse FCIAC championship game from Brien McMahon. The Darien Blue Wave took down the Ridgefield Tigers 20-4 to capture their 4th consecutive conference title and 50th consecutive win. Senior defenseman Arden Cohen took home MVP honors and Logan McGovern led the way offensively with 6 goals in the first half.

Next up our hosts preview tonight’s baseball championship between Route 7 rivals Wilton and Ridgefield. Wilton reached the conference championship via a 12-3 win over the defending champion Darien Blue Wave. Ridgefield squeezed by defending runner up Trumbull 3-2 thanks in large part to playing small ball.
