The Ridgefield Tigers, fresh off their first-ever FCIAC basketball championship, host the Shelton Gaels in the opening round of the Connecticut Class LL state boys basketball tournament. HAN Network’s live coverage starts at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, March 6. You can watch the game live from (or anytime on-demand) in the video player below. The game will also be simulcast live on Frontier Communications’ Vantage Sports Network (Chs. 600/1600) and you can watch it on the HAN Network mobile app.

The No. 15 Tigers (17-6) beat rival Wilton to win Ridgefield’s first FCIAC boys basketball title. It took double overtime for Ridgefield to beat the Warriors in the championship and double overtime for them to beat their other rivals, Danbury, in the FCIAC semifinals. No. 18 Shelton (13-8) has been idle since losing to Cheshire, 57-53, in the SCC tournament’s opening round in February.
