The HAN Network will be broadcasting live at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, Bridgeport for the FCIAC baseball final on Friday, May 26 with the first pitch set for 7:00 pm. Two historic rivals meet again in a conference championship game, the #2 Wilton Warriors will face #4 Ridgefield Tigers in a thrilling game. The #2 Warriors got to the championship game by beating Norwalk in extra innings in the quarterfinals, and then rolled all over the defending champions Darien 12-3 in the semi finals. Meanwhile, the #4 Tigers got here by beating New Canaan 5-3 in the quarterfinals, and then were able to hold off Trumbull 3-2 in the semi final game. Back in the winter season, these two rivals met in the FCIAC boys basketball championship game in a game no one will ever forget. The Tigers pulled away in a nail biting double overtime victory over the Warriors. If this final is anything like the basketball final, then we are in for a fun night.
