The No. 1 Trumbull Eagles and the No. 8 Staples Wreckers play in the second FCIAC girls basketball playoff game on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 1:45 p.m. You can watch the game live from Norwalk High School (or anytime on-demand) in the video player below. The game will also be simulcast live on Frontier Communications’ Vantage Sports Network (Chs. 600/1600) and you can watch it on the HAN Network mobile app.
The game video player will be embedded here at least 10 minutes before tipoff, which is scheduled to begin at 1:45 but is subject to the length of the first game. If you don’t see the video player, refresh your browser or watch at HAN.Network.
The Eagles (19-1, 15-1 FCIAC) are the top seed but lose out on hosting the quarterfinal because Trumbull High School hosts the CIAC Class LL wrestling tournament this weekend. Staples (12-7, 9-7) edged out Wilton for the final playoff spot in the regular season. The only time these two teams met this winter Trumbull beat Staples, 54-31, on Jan. 13.
We’ll be carrying all four FCIAC quarterfinals on Saturday on HAN.Network, both semifinals on Tuesday, Feb. 21, and the championship on Thursday, Feb. 23. You can find links to all the games at our FCIAC Girls Basketball Tournament page.
