Nutmeg Sports, HAN’s Connecticut sport show, airs Monday-Thursday at 2 pm on HAN.Network, hosted by Frank Granito, Kevin Coleman and various HAN sports editors.

On the Tuesday, April 3, episode of Nutmeg Sports, Frank Granito and John Kovach welcome Greenwich Sentinel editor Paul Silverfarb to the show to take a behind the scenes look at two nationally ranked programs in the town of Greenwich.

First up, our hosts and Paul take a look at the early stages of the Brunswick lacrosse season. With high expectations coming off a season in which the Bruins finished No. 4 in the nation. With two wins under their belts to start the season, Paul gives an update on the team including comments from players and head coach David Bruce.

Paul also shares some insider information on the nationally ranked Greenwich High School rugby team. Playing one of the most competitive schedules in all of Connecticut Sports, the Cardinals are looking to complete this season’s goal of winning the programs first ever national championship.

Plus, Frank and John look around the FCIAC at some of the big games on the calendar for today, including New Canaan boys lacrosse hosting perennial power Syosset, NY.
