Nutmeg Sports, HAN’s Connecticut sport show, airs Monday-Thursday at 2 pm on HAN.Network, hosted by Frank Granito, Kevin Coleman and various HAN sports editors.

On the Wednesday, April 4, episode of Nutmeg Sports Frank Granito and Kevin Coleman are back in studio and ready to get you updated on day three of spring season postponements.

First up, breaking news out of Wilton High School as EJ DiNunzio was named the varsity football head coach this morning. This is DiNunzio’s first head coaching position, after serving as a coach on the freshman staff this past fall at Wilton. Coach DiNunzio replaces Bruce Cunningham who resigned last month. DiNunzio has 10 years of coaching experience. He coached the modified (middle school) football program in Eastchester, was JV coach and then assistant varsity coach at Lincoln High School in Yonkers, N.Y., and then assistant varsity coach in New Rochelle, N.Y.

Also, Frank and Kevin look around the conference at the few games that were played in yesterday’s horrible weather and get you up to speed on this afternoon’s games that have already been postponed.
