In more news out of Stratford, A New York man accused of approaching members of Victoria Soto’s family during a charity event and claiming the shooting incident at Sandy Hook Elementary School was staged is facing charges from Stratford Police.

More than 60 guns have been seized from a Darien home following a heroin arrest.

Bridgeport Police Department broke up an illegal street race Monday night, arresting a 21 year-old man after a police pursuit.

Monroe Police have arrested a second suspect in the September robbery of the Buck Stop gas station on Route 25, according to Capt. Michael Flick.

In other Monroe news, Texting, drinking and driving apparently caused a one-car crash and the arrest of the driver in Monroe late Saturday night, and the suspect was none too pleased.

A Shelton man was arrested on a number of burglary charges yesterday for a string of incidents in Trumbull.

In New Canaan, The boss of a landscaping business was not happy to hear that his work crew had an $1,800 Fraiden push blower stolen off their truck on Nov. 3.
