State Police Troopers in Bridgeport are looking for help to identify a male who was found unconscious on the right shoulder of Route 8 southbound near exit 2 in Bridgeport.

Before Christopher Plaskon was sentenced to 25 years in prison Monday, states attorney Kevin Lawlor noted that It took only 33 seconds for Christopher Plaskon to take a life that many people described as promising and inspiring when he stabbed and killed Maren Sanchez in a stairwell at Jonathan Law High School on April 25, 2014.

Café Ruche, LLC, a restaurant and yoga studio, has filed a lawsuit against the town of Wilton, Wilton Center Development Limited Partnership, and Paragon Realty Group. The suit was filed in Superior Court at Bridgeport on May 23.

A town skate park in Ridgefield celebrated a big milestone recently. It was 20 years ago that skating was extremely popular and merchants downtown couldn’t keep kids on skates and skateboards off the sidewalks. Police were even making arrests. There was a huge push to build the town’s skate park, one of the first in the region.
