Four people were hospitalized after a serious two-vehicle crash Sunday night on Kings Highway Cutoff in Fairfield.

New Canaan police are looking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for hitting  a pedestrian early Sunday morning.

There were 351 accidents, 19 DUIs and four fatalities on Connecticut roadways this holiday weekend, according to Connecticut State Police’s Dec. 23-26 statistics.

A New Haven man was arrested for reckless driving, disobeying the signal of a police officer, and illegally racing on a state highway in the southbound lane of Route 25 at 1:28 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 20.

Darien Police are investigating some midnight vandalism that occurred Dec. 17.

In Milford, with the warm Christmas Day weather a few brave souls decided to plunge into the sub 50 degree water at Walnut Beach.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy has announced that Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, an importer and marketer of wine and spirit brands from around the world, plans to relocate its headquarters from White Plains, New York to Stamford.

Elsewhere in the state, More than a thousand gallons of milk spilled after a farm in Torrington fell victim to Christmas Eve vandals.

For the second time in two years, Redding resident Paul Avgerinos has been nominated for Best New Age Album at the Grammy Awards, which will be broadcast on Feb. 15 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Trumbull dog owners will be glad to hear that there’s a place that keeps their pets shaded from the hot summer sun, as well as protected from the drizzle of spring rain.
