The No. 3 Ridgefield Tigers and No. 6 Fairfield Warde Mustangs get the FCIAC boys basketball playoffs started at noon on Saturday, Feb. 25. You can watch the game live from Fairfield Warde High School (or anytime on-demand) in the video player below. The game will also be simulcast live on Frontier Communications’ Vantage Sports Network (Chs. 600/1600) and you can watch it on the HAN Network mobile app.
The Tigers (14-6, 11-5 FCIAC) beat the Mustangs (15-5, 11-5) in the final game of the regular season to claim the third seed in the eight-team tournament. Ridgefield won that game, 72-64, but Warde gets the homecourt advantage as the Fairfield school hosts all three rounds of the FCIAC boys basketball tournament.
We’ll be carrying all four FCIAC quarterfinals on Saturday on HAN.Network, both semifinals on Tuesday, Feb. 28, and the championship on Thursday, March 2. You can find links to all the games at our FCIAC Boys Basketball Tournament page.
