In the FCIAC girls lacrosse final, the #1 Darien Blue Wave will be facing off against the #6 Ridgefield Tigers on Wednesday, May 24 at 7:00 pm at Norwalk High School.
The HAN Network will be broadcasting live at Norwalk High School for the FCIAC girls lacrosse final on Wednesday, May 24 at 7:00 pm. The final will feature the #1 Darien Blue Wave (11-0 FCIAC, 13-3 Overall) and the cinderalla story #6 Ridgefield Tigers (6-4 FCIAC, 12-4 Overall). The top seeded Blue Wave maintained their dominance as they rolled past the Staples Wreckers in the semi finals. Meanwhile, the Tigers are playing red hot and continue to surprise the conference with a big upset win over #2 New Canaan 14-11 in the semi finals. These two teams met during the regular season back on April 18 and it was Darien who pulled away with the victory. John Kovach and Tim Murphy will be on the call.
