In a rematch of last year’s quarterfinals, the No. 5 Ridgefield visit the No. 4 Greenwich Cardinals in the quarterfinals of the FCIAC girls lacrosse tournament live on the HAN Network Friday, May 18, at 4:30 p.m.

In last year’s quarterfinal matchup the Tigers advanced as they defeated Greenwich 15-14 in double overtime.

The Tigers have won eight out of their last nine games entering the conference tournament. The Tigers finished the regular season 11-5 overall, 6-4 in the FCIAC.


The Cardinals enter the postseason red hot as they’ve won eight straight and earned themselves a home playoff game. The Cardinals finished the regular season on top of the West Division at 9-1 in the FCIAC, 13-2 overall.
