The Fairfield Ludlowe Falcons enter Thursday’s contest with a 1-1 record. The Falcons won their first game of the season at home against crosstown rival Fairfield Warde, 11-10, and are coming off a 17-2 loss to Darien Tuesday night. Head coach Chris Parisi will rely on his talented captains to lead the way, including Quinn Thompson on attack, Alex Berg in the midfield, Max Chandler on defense, and goalie Carter Leibrock.


The Conard Chieftans head south with a 2-1 record. Conard has defeated South Windsor 19-7 and Farmington 10-8, but fell to Hand 8-6. In their win over South Windsor, junior attacker Derek O’Connor had nine points as he scored eight goals and had one assist. Luke Serdechny had five points with four goals and had one assist, and Ben Hollerbach scored four goals to follow O’Connor.
