Watch No. 1 Danbury take on defending FCIAC champions Westhill in the boys' basketball championship game on the HAN Network

Watch top-seed Danbury and defending champion Westhill play for the 2016 FCIAC Boys Basketball Championship on the HAN Network in streaming HD. Below is the full broadcast from Thursday, March 3, at Fairfield Warde High School:

It’s been more than two decades since Danbury ruled boys basketball in the FCIAC. This season, the Hatters have lost just one league game and now find themselves one win away from their first FCIAC title since 1992. In their way is defending champion Westhill, riding a late-season surge into the championship.

No. 1 Danbury easily put away No. 4 Wilton on Thursday night, 77-41, in a game carried live on HAN. Danbury (20-2, 17-1)’s only conference loss this season was to Trumbull, which lost to Westhill in the first semifinal game on Thursday. Westhill (15-7, 12-6) led most of the way against the Eagles, winning 53-43 in a game also carried live on HAN.

While Westhill beat Norwalk for the FCIAC Boys Basketball Championship last year, Danbury hasn’t won the Fairfield County title since 1992 against Westhill.
