The Blue Wave (7-1, 2-0 FCIAC) is coming off a big win over previously undefeated Greenwich, 3-0, on Monday. The Cadets (5-3, 2-0) easily handled Wilton, 6-1, over the weekend.

After Darien’s win over the Cardinals, the Blue Wave replaced Greenwich as the top ranked team in Connecticut by the GameTimeCT/New Haven Register poll. Darien was No. 3 and St. Joseph was No. 6 last week. The Cadets stayed at No. 6 this week.

The game, played on the Cadets’ home ice at the Rinks of Shelton, was broadcast live on HAN.Network,,, and all the HAN Network affiliates.

St. Joseph was raising money for ALS research by selling wristbands, which were worn by many of the fans in attendance.
