Fairfield Warde hosts crosstown rival Ludlowe and honors one of its own in boys basketball as carried live on the HAN Network on Thursday, Feb. 11. It’s the fifth annual Coaches vs. Cancer game between the schools, Game 1 of a doubleheader on HAN featuring the boys and girls teams from both schools.

The teams will honored Warde’s Giacomo Brancato, who was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma last basketball season. With the cancer in remission, Brancato is back on the hardwood and the Mustangs are battling for an FCIAC playoff spot.

Upcoming games and more
The HAN Network’s winter season schedule includes many FCIAC teams in boys and girls ice hockey, boys and girls basketball and wrestling. Some facility restraints have prevented us from covering swimming and gymnastics so far this season. We’ll also be covering much of the FCIAC postseason playoffs and most championships.
On Friday we’ll have boys basketball when Brien McMahon travels to Wilton. And our FCIAC Championships coverage continues with our third championship meet this winter: the FCIAC wrestling finals.
