The undefeated, nationally ranked New Canaan Rams travel to Cardinal Stadium to take on Greenwich in FCIAC boys lacrosse. You can watch the game live (or later on-demand) in streaming high definition in the player below.
The Rams, who just moved up to No. 3 in USA Today’s national high school lacrosse rankings, are coming off a big win over national Top 5 team Brunswick School of Greenwich last weekend. Greenwich has struggled against top FCIAC teams, losing to Ridgefield last week and to Staples in overtime this week. Both of those games were carried live on the HAN Network and can be watched for free on demand.
New Canaan (6-0, 2-0 FCIAC) is tied with St. Joseph and Darien atop the FCIAC’s East Division, while Greenwich (2-3, 2-2) is in the middle of the pack in the West Division, behind Ridgefield, Staples and Trumbull.
Next week, HAN will have live FCIAC softball, baseball, girls lacrosse and boys lacrosse — including New Canaan vs. Darien on Saturday, April 30, at 1 p.m. You can view the entire schedule here.
How to watch
The HAN Network live broadcast of the game can be seen on this page, our homepage, HAN.Network, and on affiliate websites including FCIAC.net. The stream usually starts 10 minutes before the event is scheduled to begin. Rob Adams and crew join you five minutes before the contest begins. Keep in mind that start times are subject to change (teams often share venues and schedules can fall behind). Keep an eye on our Twitter feed for the latest updates.
The HAN Network, formerly known as Hersam Acorn Newspapers, is the exclusive FCIAC broadcast partner through the spring of 2018. HAN Network’s broadcasting division replaced HANRadio.com with a new focus on live video streams of high school athletics along with the Network’s news and lifestyle programming.
Along with Connecticut high school sports contests, HAN broadcasts a daily news program, Coffee Break, focusing on southwestern Connecticut at 11 a.m. and a sports talk show, Nutmeg Sports, Monday-Wednesday. You can watch all the shows at HAN.Network or on demand at live.HAN.Network/han-on-demand/.
