The undefeated New Canaan Rams, ranked No. 3 in the nation, host the undefeated Staples Wreckers in FCIAC boys lacrosse on the HAN Network. You can watch the Tuesday, April 26, game live (or on-demand later) in the video player below. Faceoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Both New Canaan and Staples come into the matchup with identical records: 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the FCIAC. That ties New Canaan with Darien atop the FCIAC East Division and ties Staples with Ridgefield atop the West Division. You can see the FCIAC boys lacrosse standings here.
New Canaan is ranked No. 3 in USA Today’s Super 25 Boys Varsity Lacrosse Expert Rankings. The Rams are coming off wins over nationally-ranked Brunswick School in Greenwich, Greenwich High School and St. Joseph of Trumbull. The Greenwich win was broadcast by HAN Network and can be seen here for free.
Staples is trying to show it can hang with the FCIAC powerhouses of New Canaan and Darien. After a double-overtime win over Greenwich last week, the Wreckers easily handled Trumbull. The Greenwich thriller was also broadcast on HAN and can be watched here.
This game is the HAN Network’s seventh boys lacrosse game broadcast of 2016 spring season. You can watch past games (which include baseball and boys and girls lacrosse) on-demand for free at this link.
This week, HAN will also have live FCIAC baseball along with more boys and girls lacrosse:
• Girls lacrosse: Manhasset (NY) at Darien, Wednesday, 4 p.m.
• Baseball: Wilton at Trinity Catholic, Thursday, 4 p.m.
• Boys lacrosse: New Canaan at Darien, 1 p.m.

The HAN Network, formerly known as Hersam Acorn Newspapers, is the exclusive FCIAC broadcast partner through the spring of 2018. HAN Network’s broadcasting division replaced HANRadio.com with a new focus on live video streams of high school athletics along with the Network’s news and lifestyle programming.
Along with Connecticut high school sports contests, HAN broadcasts a daily news program, Coffee Break, focusing on southwestern Connecticut at 11 a.m. and a sports talk show, Nutmeg Sports, Monday-Wednesday. You can watch all the shows at HAN.Network or on demand at live.HAN.Network/han-on-demand/.
