A pedestrian was struck and killed in Shelton on Friday – near the hiking trails on Shelton Avenue.

On the eve of today’s 4th anniversary of the killing of 26 adults and children at Sandy Hook Elementary School, New Canaan High School Principal Bill Egan alerted parents, students and staff a threatening social media message involving the school.

The Milford Police Department Special Investigation Unit is looking for a missing teenage girl.

One year after making the biggest change in league history — cutting the 50-year-old FCIAC Football Championship — the league voted against making another drastic change that would have aligned the traditionally stronger football schools into their own division.

This has turned out to be a bad year for Wilton’s deer, with more being killed on the roads than the year before. But they may also face more fire from hunters.
